LTE User UL Throughput Enhancement in Nokia system
Issue :- During day time intermittent data connection lost with poor data experience specially in Zoom Calls/MS Team / CISCO Webex Analysis :- v Cell KPI stats were satisfactory in BBH and 24 Hrs in DL v When cell KPIs checked in 15min interval it was observed that at some instant high UL demand with UL PRB riches to 95% from 40%-50% with slight poor SINR and BLER v As UL demand and user were high as expected target for BLER were not meeting result more retransmission Solution:- v There were defined fixed target UL BLER on cell level with initial MCS allocation from 4 onward v We decided to make UL target BLER dynamic as depend upon cell scenario with two step process Set1 :- actUlDynamicTargetBler = True Set2:- actUlDynamicTargetBler = True&& iniMCSUL =6 Result:- v Both Set has given good result dominated by Set2 for trails on 10 sites v Final trail done for 1180 FDD cells with many KPIs improvement, TDD
